Robert has worked extensively in TV, film, radio and theatre throughout the UK, including 25 productions at The Citizen’s Theatre, Glasgow.
Recent theatre includes: Frank Bowman in Dark Road, Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh, Sir Roger Glynn in You Can Still Make a Killing (Southwark Playhouse), Under Milk Wood (Splice Theatre, Brewery Theatre/tour), Love the Sinner (National Theatre), Victor Quinn in My Zinc Bed (Northampton Derngate), Karn in SUS (Splice, Bristol), Duncan in Macbeth (Royal Exchange, Manchester), Pony William in Knives in Hens (Theatre Royal, Bath), Cockburn in The Frontline (Shakespeare's Globe), Testing the Echo (Out of Joint/national tour), title role in Macbeth, The Sorcerer in Aladdin, Creon in Antigone; all at the Bristol Old Vic.
